Dematic seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support Rollers and Multitech Assembly lines, ensuring products meet customer requirements and driving continuous improvement. This hands-on, on-site role blends shop floor work with engineering and administrative duties to optimize processes and delivery.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze production issues and implement data-driven improvements, with emphasis on safety, quality, and on-time performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• PLC programming (basic to intermediate level): Allen Bradley, Siemens.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Solid understanding of electrical concepts.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience in production environments.
• Advanced English proficiency (required).

Responsabilidades

• Define, update, and implement manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain process documentation such as: Process flow charts, PFMEA, visual aids, and work instructions.
• Design and implement poka-yokes, fixtures, and tools for assembly lines, considering ergonomics and operator safety.
• Analyze assembly line capacity to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
• Define and manage manufacturing routings, providing data for SAP.
• Lead and support continuous improvement (CI) projects, focused on KPI optimization.
• Follow up on CAPA activities, ensuring timely closure.
• Update assembly layouts based on production changes.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S policies and procedures.
• Partner with Indirect Purchasing for quotations, expense tracking, and PO follow-ups.
• Identify and document design issues, proposing and implementing improvements on the production floor.
• Participate in scheduled training programs.

What You Will Do in This Role

• Lead and support continuous improvement (CI) projects, focused on KPI optimization.

Qualifications
