Mondelez Mexico is seeking a seasoned leader to head the Plant Operational Excellence agenda at the Puebla facility. You will drive TPM deployment, coach cross-functional teams, and embed continuous improvement across safety, quality and productivity.

Formación

  • Proven experience leading Operational Excellence programs (TPM/IWS/WCM) in manufacturing.
  • End-to-end TPM knowledge beyond isolated tools.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and coaching.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and change management skills.
  • Experience in FMCG environment preferred.

You will be responsible for Leading, coaching and developing our Plant multi-functional teams to identify best practices and improvements that will increase our Reliability, Productivity, efficiency and effectiveness. Your goal will be to establish an Agile and synchronized Supply chain.

How you will contribute
  • Works cross functionally to develop and implement a 3 year strategic plan and annual operating plan, proactively identify key opportunities and link strategy to action to enable safe, reliable, flexible and cost efficient manufacturing capability that is a demonstrable competitive advantage to Mondelēz. Partner with multi-functional leads to define and meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Engagement goals. Establish a strong governance to review & control operational performance and continuous Improvement plan and embed a zero loss mindset across the site to deliver against best in class both internally and externally
  • Provide coaching towards implementation of IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma ways of working and phase journey as per masterplan and Self-sufficient teams. Role model Values and principles through effective coaching, mentoring and development of the multi-functional team
  • Accountable to protect the value of the assets through appropriate assessment of needs and planning of spend. Lead and be accountable for all Manufacturing standards, Governance, Compliance requirements are in place, understood by all employees at the site, and regularly reviewed and monitored for compliance to policy.
  • Lead and be Accountable for Talent, Capabilities & Engagement for the Plant - identify and implement critical levers to attract, retain & develop critical talent and build capability at all levels, technical and behavioral, to build a sustainable workforce profile for the future.
  • Interface with Key stakeholders internally & externally to establish/maintain effective relationships, align priorities in order to deliver the company objectives, goals and build the company equity and image.
What you will bring
  • A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: Significant experience in leading manufacturing performance in a fast moving manufacturing environment with exceptional results (FMCG experience) with a career that has seen time at the Front Line and/or Manufacturing Manager level. Demonstrable and intuitive knowledge on fundamentals of good manufacturing practice, process improvement and optimization, Reconfiguration and imbedding of new or enhanced technology, Managing Costs and Variance, Motivaters and engagement levers for shop floor based performance, experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem solving and team building with a strong financial & business acumen, project management skills and Knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience in interfacing with the broader Supply Chain and Commercial functions and a high level of capability around managing relationships and outcomes with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Category and Sales.

The Manager, Supply Chain Excellence will lead the end-to-end Operational Excellence strategy and continuous improvement agenda for the Puebla Plant, driving the deployment and sustainability of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles and best practices across all operational pillars.

This role is accountable for embedding a culture of continuous improvement, strengthening operational capabilities, and delivering sustainable improvements in plant performance, productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency. The position requires a strong manufacturing background, cross-functional leadership experience, and proven expertise in implementing and managing comprehensive Operational Excellence programs.

The role will lead a team of direct reports and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, execution, and continuous advancement of the plant's Operational Excellence roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence Strategy: Develop, lead, and execute the plant's end-to-end Operational Excellence strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and manufacturing performance objectives.
  • TPM Program Leadership: Drive the implementation, maturity, and sustainability of TPM across all relevant pillars, ensuring consistent application of methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve operational performance, eliminate losses, optimize processes, and enhance equipment reliability and overall plant effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Partner with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, and other plant functions to embed continuous improvement into daily operations and drive a holistic approach to operational excellence.
  • Capability Building: Develop organizational capabilities and foster a continuous improvement culture through coaching, training, standardization, and the development of operational excellence practices across the plant.
  • Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators, track improvement initiatives, and ensure sustainable delivery of productivity, efficiency, quality, safety, and cost objectives.
  • People Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of direct reports, ensuring clear priorities, strong execution, and continuous capability development.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Mandatory: Proven experience leading or deploying comprehensive Operational Excellence programs, such as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), IWS (Integrated Work Systems), WCM (World Class Manufacturing), or equivalent structured manufacturing excellence systems.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end knowledge and experience across all major pillars of a TPM-based Operational Excellence framework, beyond the implementation of isolated continuous improvement tools or individual pillars.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing leadership roles, with exposure to different plant functions such as Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Quality.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading and developing teams, with strong people management and coaching capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills, with a track record of translating improvement strategies into measurable and sustainable results.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the food and beverage or broader fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
  • Familiarity with structured loss elimination, reliability improvement, and manufacturing performance management methodologies.
  • Experience driving cultural transformation and capability building within large-scale manufacturing operations.
