Position Overview

This role manages a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that support business objectives. You will be responsible for the technical execution, operational efficiency, and health of your team’s engineering output, ensuring high-quality, scalable software delivery. You will foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment, mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvements in both product and process. This role requires strong leadership, a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving, and a focus on delivering impactful solutions.

• Monitor and analyze team performance metrics to drive continuous improvements in quality, velocity, and efficiency.
• Manage team capacity and resource planning, ensuring the right talent is allocated to meet project goals.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies, applying relevant innovations to enhance team effectiveness.

Education And Experience

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with 1+ years in a management role.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
• Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.
