Location: Monterrey, N.L./Remote

BASIC FUNCTION

Accountable for executing the New Product Schedule utilizing cross-functional resources and the NPD process. Responsible for implementing the marketing program focusing sales activities like promotions and new product roll out. He/she is also to work closely with all Kohler Global regional product marketing and sales team to achieve the objectives.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Program
  • Handles the project and controls the time, quality and cost to ensure the product comes into market on time.
  • Make project plan, such as project schedule, status report, action list, checklist, etc.
  • Solve outstanding issues and follow up the process.
  • Lead the project team from different function and coordinate with different function head to make sure the project completion.
  • Keep tracing the NPS- New Product Schedule and align with project team for the timing to kickoff and launch new products accordingly.
  • Evaluate the performance of project team members.
  • Summarize and analyze the project when completed for the benefit of learning and process improvement.
Channel Marketing
Phase 1
  • Work with Sales and Marketing Communications team and incorporate research and promotional efforts required to meet current and projected market objectives.
  • Implement marketing tools and new product display to promote products in the showrooms, and other potential channels such as dealer.
  • Collect and analyze market information for product team to respond to the customer needs promptly and to build the market data warehouse for future strategy development.
Phase 2
  • Prepare annual marketing plans for assigned products, including market strategy, incentive promotions, sales forecast, projected market penetration, and budget estimates.
  • Develop and present sales training programs for internal sales and distributor as well as product presentation for interior designers and developers through co-work with Trade Marketing team.
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
Supervisory Relationships
  • Direct reports to Sr Manager – Category Strategy, K&B LATam.
  • Reports to Director-Product/ Category, K&B Latam on a dotted-line basis.
Organization Relationships
  • Frequent collaborative associations with senior management and staff in Engineering, Purchasing, Industrial Design, and Manufacturing.
  • Collaborative associations with Legal and Accounting.
  • Work with local product marketing and retail sales closely.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Experience: 3 -5 years New Product Development, Strategy, Category Manager, Multicultural background.
  • Education: Industrial Design Engineering.
  • English Fluent.
