BlueScope North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Apodaca area to perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and promptly address faults to minimize downtime. The role emphasizes safe work practices and accurate documentation of maintenance activities.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, conducting safety inspections, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives while following 5S standards.

Formación

• Experience performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience using CMMS or equivalent maintenance software.
• Adherence to safety standards and 5S principles.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Address and repair equipment faults promptly to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement fixes.
• Conduct safety inspections on machinery and equipment.
• Document maintenance activities and work orders in the system.

• Ejecutar mantenimientos preventivos programados.
• Atender fallas correctivas de manera oportuna.
• Diagnosticar y solucionar problemas eléctricos, mecánicos, neumáticos e hidráulicos.
• Realizar inspecciones de seguridad en maquinaria y equipos.
• Documentar actividades y órdenes de trabajo en el sistema de mantenimiento.
• Cumplir con los estándares de seguridad, calidad y 5S.
• Participar en mejoras continuas y reducción de tiempos muertos.
