Vestas seeks a maintenance engineer for our Matamoros plant to ensure reliable operation of production equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance. You will support equipment installation and startup, and develop training for maintenance personnel, while monitoring key performance indicators.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read electrical diagrams and blueprints.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics or Electromechanical) required.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in industrial settings.
• Strong ability to read electrical diagrams and blueprints.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for production equipment.
• Provide support in equipment installation, startup, and commissioning.
• Lead technical training for maintenance personnel.
• Monitor critical equipment performance and supervise activities.
• Conduct failure analysis and diagnose problems.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

Responsible for the proper installation, use, and application of equipment utilized in the plant, with a continuous focus on quality, safety, cost, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for production equipment.
• Provide direct support in equipment selection, installation, and startup/commissioning.
• Develop technical training programs for building maintenance personnel.
• Continuously monitor and supervise critical equipment.
• Perform failure analysis and diagnose problems.
• Analyze performance indicator reports, including:
• Downtime
• Preventive maintenance
• Corrective maintenance
• Costs
• Support other service departments in failure analysis.
• Comply with and enforce all provisions of the TPI Internal Work Regulations.
• Promote and ensure compliance with TPI’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach through risk-based thinking, supporting and continuously improving Management Systems processes (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, such as:

• Mechatronics Engineering
• Electromechanical Engineering

Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience, including:

• Maintenance of heating and cooling systems.
• Compressor maintenance.
• Dust collection system maintenance.
• Maintenance of high- and low-voltage electrical installations.
• Maintenance of overhead cranes and mobile equipment.
• Results-oriented.
• Leadership.
• Equipment failure analysis and problem diagnosis.
• Motivated mindset.
• Effective communication.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and blueprints.
