POSITION OBJECTIVE
Through active leadership, coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance and refurbishment work on equipment and machinery throughout the plant, maintaining a high level of effectiveness in meeting department indicators.
Ensure compliance by the department and its staff with industrial safety and environmental guidelines, adherence to quality, health, and food safety standards, ensuring maximum productivity and optimal costs.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Electronics, Automotive, Mechatronics, or similar engineering Master is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar positions, including PLC control systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and Industry 4.0, ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, cooling towers, water treatment plants, air compressors, TPM, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic engineering.
- Knowledge of food industry regulatory systems, ISO, reading and interpreting diagrams, plans, and technical drawings.
- CAPEX project planning and execution.
- Strong English speaking, writing, and reading skills.
- Easy access to the work center located in Ocoyoacac, State of Mexico.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with the maintenance and production program, guaranteeing product safety and adhering to the GMPs, processes, policies, and regulations established by the organization, as well as applicable standards (SQF, HACCP, etc.).
- Comply with the established maintenance program in a timely manner to avoid production downtime.
- Ensure cleanliness in areas where maintenance work is performed, ensuring that no particles or foreign materials belonging to the machine are left behind that could jeopardize food safety.
- Responsible for attracting, onboarding, managing, and developing Associates based on safety, quality, service, and cost.
- Responsible for participating in the development of the necessary materials for basic technical training for operational and health personnel, such as operation and maintenance manuals (LUPs), CILs, lubrication charts, and Center Line Inspection, Cleaning, and Adjustments checklists.
- Responsible for training maintenance (technicians), operational, and health personnel in accordance with the autonomous activity guidelines defined in RICHs' TPM strategy and conducting audits to ensure proper execution of autonomous maintenance.
- Ensures that all operators, mechanics, electrical technicians, etc., are effectively trained and that the release of equipment to customers is simple and efficient.
- Establishes shift roles and records incidents for the Associates under their supervision.
- Ensures that the preventive maintenance program is carried out in a timely manner, providing feedback to the maintenance planning department on any modifications, abnormalities, frequency, etc.
- Ensures that maintenance Associates have closed notices and corrective and preventive work orders in a timely manner.
- Allocates resources so that any corrective deviations are resolved immediately to maintain line efficiency and meet production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food safety regulations in the area where you work, monitoring the proper use of work tools, uniforms, and GMPs.
- Immediately identify and eliminate any unsafe acts or conditions.
In the event of a failure, actions will be taken to eliminate the root causes.
