Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Mainframe Developer to join our team in Mexico City or Mérida. You will participate in development, support, maintenance, and evolution of critical mainframe applications, translating business requirements into reliable Mainframe solutions.

Responsibilities include COBOL/JCL/CICS/DB2 coding, Batch and Online development, and SQL querying, with production incident management and cross-functional collaboration as core activities. Knowledge of banking processes is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
• Experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and SQL.
• Experience with Batch and Online development.
• Experience supporting and maintaining critical applications.
• Experience managing production incidents.
• Previous participation in development and technology evolution projects.
• Experience in banking or financial environments.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to technical discussions, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

As a Mainframe Developer , you will participate in the development, support, maintenance, and technological evolution of critical applications in Mainframe environments.

You will collaborate with technical and functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into reliable and scalable Mainframe solutions.
