Ford Champs is a structured development program designed to expose you to multiple business areas over 12 to 24 months. You will work on MP&L launch initiatives, contribute to material flow, and participate in innovation activities while building a strong professional network.

As an Engineering student near completion, you will gain hands-on experience in launch readiness, data collection, and cross-functional teamwork, with daily logs and SOI participation to track progress and learning

Qualifications

• Active student from last 2 semesters of Engineering programs.
• 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Validate MP&L workstation readiness across all workstations for the new program/project.
• Track and drive closure of action items to achieve 100% MP&L Workstation Readiness.
• Support the setup and configuration of SMART for 100% of the BOM items.
• Facilitate the EWM system setup across marketplaces and buffers, including Visual Factory implementation.
• Track, manage, and follow up on pending action items from the MP&L Launch Readiness Scorecard.
• Help keep the PFEP updated (data entry, basic validation of information).
• Participate in Lean/5S meetings and document agreements.
• Support data collection for digitalization/automation projects.
• Attend as observer/support member of the Innovation Council.
• Prepare daily activity log.
• Attend Start of Investigation (SOI) meetings and team manpower meetings.
• Assist in completing digital 3040 forms (equipment transfer to maintenance).

As an MP&L Ford Champ, you will be responsible of supporting the Launch of a New Project

What you´ll do:

Responsibilities List

1. MP&L Launch New Project

• Validate MP&L Workstation Readiness across all workstations for the new program/project.
• Track and drive closure of action items to achieve 100% MP&L Workstation Readiness.
• Support the setup and configuration of SMART (Synchronous Material and Replenishment Trigger) for 100% of the Bill of Materials (BOM) items.
• Facilitate the Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) system setup across marketplaces and buffers, including Visual Factory implementation.
• Track, manage, and follow up on pending action items from the MP&L Launch Readiness Scorecard.

2. Material Flow (support)

• Help keep the PFEP (Plan For Every Part) updated (data entry, basic validation of information).
• Participate in meetings and continuous improvement (Lean/5S) activities, documenting agreements and following up on simple action items.

3. Innovation (participation)

• Support data collection for digitalization/automation projects.
• Attend as an observer/support member of the Innovation Council.

4. Daily / Administrative Activities

• Prepare daily activity log.
• Attend Start of Investigation (SOI) meetings and team manpower meetings.
• Assist in completing digital 3040 forms (equipment transfer to maintenance).

Requirements

• Active student from any of the last 2 semesters of Engineering (Mechatronic, Mechanic, Innovation and Development, Robotics and Intelligent systems, Industrial, Material Planning and Logistics, etc…)
• 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Materials/Metallurgy, Mechatronics, or a related field). Languages
• Fluent English (B2/C1 level equivalent) , with excellent technical communication, reading, and writing skills.

• Excel: Advance knowledge
