Department: Logistics
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting and optimizing international logistics operations through effective coordination with logistics partners, accurate data management, and continuous performance monitoring. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, customs compliance, and internal customer satisfaction by providing logistics analysis, reporting, and cross‑functional support to Commercial and Operations teams across regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end logistics processes for international shipments, including ocean, road, and drayage freight.
- Track and monitor shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely execution.
- Assist with international bookings and coordination with freight forwarders and warehouse partners.
- Monitor large‑volume logistics programs and track key operational metrics.
- Prepare and maintain logistics reports related to inbound volumes, warehouse capacity, freight spend, and operational performance.
- Develop monthly inbound volume projections and warehouse capacity comparison reports.
- Maintain and update the Master Freight Matrix (Ocean, OTR, and Drayage rates).
- Prepare and manage Demurrage and Detention reports.
- Analyze freight rates, shipping trends, and cost drivers to support decision‑making.
- Support internal customs audits for U.S. and Canada operations.
- Maintain and update HTS code master lists and international trade agreements.
- Ensure compliance with customs, trade, and documentation requirements.
- Support accurate record‑keeping for audits and regulatory reviews.
- Provide logistics data and operational insights to Commercial and Operations teams.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries with accurate and timely information.
- Maintain effective communication with vendors, warehouses, and logistics partners.
- Support onboarding of new warehouse partners and logistics vendors.
- Participate in logistics‑related projects and improvement initiatives.
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities to optimize cost, service levels, and operational execution.
- Support special assignments and cross‑regional logistics initiatives as required.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Intermediate: 2–4 years in logistics, international trade, or supply chain roles management.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of international logistics and freight processes (Ocean, Road, Drayage).
- Understanding of U.S. and Canadian customs procedures.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and HTS codes.
- Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced).
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Ability to analyze freight rates, warehouse capacity, and logistics KPIs.

Hiring Details
- Prestaciones superiores a las de Ley (+2Vacaciones/50%Prima vacacional, 30 días Aguinaldo, vales despensa, fondo de ahorro, seguro de gastos médicos mayores, bono anual variable, estacionamiento, PTO days, entre otros).
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm (daylight saving / summer time)
- After anniversary, 1/2 day to be WFH
- Indefinite contract after training period
