The role involves end-to-end program management of innovative logistics initiatives prioritizing customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have over 3 years of project management experience along with excellent skills in data analysis, communication, and stakeholder engagement. The goal of Amazon’s Global Delivery Strategy Team is to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. To meet this goal, we are continually striving to innovate and provide best in class service levels through the introduction of pioneering new products and services.

Amazon is seeking a rock‑star strategic and tactical leader with a penchant for process deployment, communication and boots on the ground. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the end‑to‑end program management of the deployment, implementation and launch of the strategic programs and processes that make up some of Amazon’s most innovative logistics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that you and the Team remain customer obsessed.
  • Take end‑to‑end ownership of the expanded last mile program and operation.
  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership of last mile initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams and track tasks.
  • Communicate across various participants to align goals and guarantee program success.
  • Strategic planning and forecasting to appraise performance and problem resolution.
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and work within critical time constraints.
  • Execute cross‑functional projects or components of large programs including data gathering, manipulation and analysis, forward‑looking supply chain approaches and communication of insights & recommendations.
  • Create and implement improvements to our transportation network that deliver flexible and efficient products on behalf of our customers.
  • Deploy to various geographies within Mexico to launch the most innovative delivery solutions.
  • Negotiate and develop external partner relationships aligned with AMZL principles.
  • Maintain compliance and internal controls mindset to align external partners with our requirements.
  • Think cost‑wise to deliver packages with an optimal cost.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 3+ years of working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams.
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of driving end‑to‑end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
