Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation coordination, fleet management, or route planning.
• Proven experience in optimizing delivery routes and managing a fleet of vehicles.
• Familiarity with route optimization software and GPS tracking systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle unexpected situations.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience in the Logística y Almacenamiento sector is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily fleet operations, including scheduling drivers and vehicles for deliveries.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize travel time, fuel consumption, and costs.
• Monitor vehicle performance, maintenance schedules, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Track shipments and provide real-time updates on delivery status to relevant parties.
• Manage communication with drivers, providing clear instructions and support.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, including mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance.
• Investigate and resolve any issues or delays related to fleet operations or deliveries.
• Implement best practices for route planning and fleet utilization.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies for drivers and vehicles.
• Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely deliveries.
