A global security solutions provider is looking for a Record to Report (RTR) Team Lead to oversee the RTR team in Nogales. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in Accounting and Financial Controlling, with responsibilities including managing team performance, ensuring timely financial reporting, and optimizing processes. Formación

  • 3+ years of experience in Accounting and Financial Controlling and experience leading a team.
  • Prior experience in near‑shore transitions, shared services or business outsourcing.

Responsabilidades

  • Review, maintain and update process documentation for all team activities.
  • Evaluate and refine processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure team performance meets agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Perform month-end account closing activities and reconciliations.
  • Oversee GL balance accounts for accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee the recording and validation of journal entries.

Position Overview

dormakaba is hiring a Record to Report (RTR) Team Lead to join our Finance Shared Services team in Nogales.

This role combines hands‑on operational tasks with leadership responsibilities, overseeing the RTR team to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

The Team Lead will collaborate with the RTR Tower Head on automation and digitalization initiatives, manage team performance and development, and maintain up‑to‑date functional knowledge across the team.

Key duties include organizing workflows, setting objectives and quality standards, and driving efficient delivery of accounting activities.

What You Will Do
  • Review, maintain and update process documentation for all team activities
  • Evaluate and refine processes to ensure efficiency, cost‑effectiveness, and alignment with best practices
  • Ensure team performance meets agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Perform month‑end account closing activities and reconciliations
  • Oversee GL balance accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
  • Oversee the recording and validation of journal entries, ensuring they are accurate and in compliance with accounting standards
What We Require
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounting and Financial Controlling and experience leading a team
  • Prior experience in near‑shore transitions, shared services or business outsourcing
What We Prefer
  • Experience in managing international credit risks is a plus
  • Advanced English proficiency (85% or more)
