Job summary

Belden Inc. in Mexico is seeking a Production Planning Leader to optimize production plans and ensure on-time delivery of finished goods and components. You will coordinate with manufacturing, purchasing and warehousing to align resources with demand.

Responsible for leading a team, driving inventory optimization, and implementing continuous improvement across the planning function to meet customer needs and company targets.

Qualifications

• +5 years of experience in production planning, inventory management or supply chain.
• +3 years of leadership or supervision experience, preferably in planning.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with continuous improvement implementations.
• Massive data extraction from databases.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of production plans and ensure material availability.
• Maintain clear communication with manufacturing, purchasing and service teams on delivery updates.
• Monitor finished goods inventory across company units to meet strategic targets.
• Ensure order fulfillment and minimize overdue orders.

Responsable de liderear y optimizar la planificación estratégica y operativa de la producción. Asegurar la disponibilidad de productos terminados, materias primas y subensambles dependiendo los requerimientos del mercado. Asegurar la colaboración entre departamentos de planeación, compras y almacén para optimizar los niveles de inventario y terminar en tiempo la manufactura de las demandas de los clientes.

• Liderear el desarrollo de los planes de producción y asegurar el requerimiento de materiales para su cumplimiento.
• Completa comunicación con manufactura, compras y servicio al cliente para mantener a todos los departamentos al corriente de actualizaciones de entrega de órdenes.
• Llevar seguimiento del inventario de productos terminados de los diferentes negocios de la compañía para asegurar los niveles estratégicos.
• Asegurar el cumplimiento de las ordenes de cliente y la reducción de ordenes vencidas y mantenerlas en el mínimo posible.

Requisitos:

• +5 años de experiencia en roles de planificación de producción, gestión de inventarios o cadena de suministro.
• Al menos 3 años de experiencia en rol de liderazgo o supervisión de equipos, preferentemente de planeación.
• Experiencia comprobada en ambientes industriales o de manufactura.
• Experiencia con la implementación de mejora continua.
• Dominio en extracción masiva de información de bases de datos.
• Excel Avanzado
• KPI's, OTD, inventarios
• MRP
