Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist for the retail sector in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. You will manage and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, from procurement to distribution, ensuring timely deliveries and cost efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in logistics within retail, proficiency with WMS/TMS and ERP systems, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and a Bachelor's in a related field.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field within retail.
• Proven warehousing, transportation, and inventory control experience.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with supply chain software (WMS, TMS) and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the retail supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
• Negotiate with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor inventory levels across the supply chain to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize carrying costs.
• Implement and utilize supply chain management software and technologies.
• Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Merchandising) to align supply chain activities with business goals.
• Manage warehouse operations, including space utilization, labor, and equipment.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in logistics and supply chain management.
