Convatec in Reynosa is seeking a quality inspector responsible for in-process and final product quality analyses/inspection in line with regulatory requirements. You will interpret analyses for accuracy, identify quality issues, and suggest improvements, using blueprints, dial indicators, micrometers, scales and fixtures.

You will train junior staff, provide guidance, and work under limited supervision on routine situations. Vocational or technical education is preferred.

Responsible for in-process and final product quality analyses/inspection in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. Interprets and evaluates the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision compared against established specifications. Identifies on-going quality issues, prevents potential production issues, and makes suggestions for improvement. Uses various measuring devices, testing equipment, predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to accept or reject products. May work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists. Requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education.

• Works under limited supervision for routine situations.
• Provides assistance and training to lower level employees.
• Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand.
