SHV Holdings NV in Mexico seeks a Quality Control professional to ensure incoming materials, production processes, and finished products meet HACCP, ISO, and customer standards. You will manage samples, barcoding, and documentation, and perform routine audits along with KPI tracking to drive quality improvements.

The role emphasizes coordinating QA across departments, handling complaints, and supporting training to uphold product safety and quality throughout manufacturing.

• Executes the control of all incoming raw materials and ingredients, ensuring proper inspection, labels check, sample management, and documentation, with correct barcoding for compliant release.
• Quarantines and releases products in line procedures.
• May manage specific medicinal feed additives.
• Ensures compliance throughout the production process with ISO/UFAS/QS guidelines to minimize costs.
• Interprets and complies with quality assurance standards.
• Executes the control of all finished product samples, including collection, inspection and storage.
• Manages storage, registration and handling of samples for analysis.
• Processes Finished Goods specifications into the systems to assure compliance with Nutreco and customer expectations.
• Manages and monitors relevant quality KPIs, analyzes data to detect areas for improvement.
• Recommends new quality policies or procedures to ensure high quality products, processes, or services.
• Investigates problems in a timely manner, suggests corrective actions.
• Promotes quality control across departments and coordinates training.
• Carries out routine audits to support Production and governance to ISO and customer standards; follows up.
• Participates in internal and external audits; post-audit actions.
• Carries out daily/weekly plant hygiene, pest control and other controls/audits.
• Performs routine checks of Quality and Production documentation.
• Investigates/analyzes customer complaints and non-compliance issues and reports results for resolution.

Descripción del empleo

Quality control of incoming raw materials and ingredients:

• o Executes the control of all incoming raw materials and ingredients, by ensuring proper inspection (physical appraisal, labels check, sample check, documentation check and sample management), ensuring correct documentation, sample storage and management of samples for analysis, and proper barcoding, so that products are released to production that meet full regulatory compliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Food Defense standards for manufactured products and feed ingredients
• o Quarantines and releases products in line procedures
• o May manage specific medicinal feed additives

Quality Control throughout the (production) process:

• o Ensures compliance throughout the production process with the relevant procedures and standards, in accordance with the organization guidelines and ISO, UFAS, QS and other relevant guidelines, in order to ensure that the products meet the required quality with minimization of costs.
• o Interpret and comply with quality assurance standards

Quality control of finished products:

• o Executes the control of all finished product samples, which includes collection, inspection and storage of all finished product samples.
• o Manages storage, registration and handling of samples for analysis
• o Processes Finished Goods specifications into the appropriate systems to assure compliance to both Nutreco and customer expectations.
• o Manages and monitors relevant quality KPI’s, gathers and organizes statistical quality data, analyses data to detect areas for improvement
• o Recommends new quality policies or procedures to ensure high quality products, processes, or services.
• o Investigate problems in an effective and timely manner, suggests corrective actions, in case quality inspection outcomes reveal problem areas
• o Promotes all aspects of Quality Control with all relevant departments, supports the communication of quality programs and standards to the organization and may coordinate training in relevant areas.

Quality Systems / Certificates and Audits:

• o Carries out routine audits to support Production and maintain governance to internal, ISO and customer standards. Feedback results and ensures follow up.
• o Participates in internal and external (customer) audits and is actively involved in post-audit actions
• o Carries out daily / weekly plant specific hygiene, pest control and other controls / audits
• o Performs routine checks of Quality and Production documentation

Complaints and faults handling:

• o Investigates / analyses customer complaints, in process production faults and other non-compliance issues and reports the results for resolution by relevant departments.
