Gulfstream Aerospace Mexicali seeks a CL4 Quality Leader (2nd Shift) to supervise inspectors, define and implement the Quality strategy, and support operations. You will drive quality and manufacturing initiatives, coordinate resources for inspection programs, and lead cross-functional teams to assure compliance and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years in aerospace, with strong leadership and English proficiency.

Formación

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (oral and written).
  • Availability to work 2nd Shift.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of Electrical manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with DRDI routines, Order Alterations, Redlines, Visual Aids, Work Instructions, and engineering change implementation.
  • Experience managing and executing Quality Improvement Projects and shop floor quality initiatives.
  • Experience with PQ validation of First Articles (FAI) and work order requirements.
  • Experience implementing and sustaining repetitive DRDI corrective actions.
  • Experience leading and supporting the QCIP Stamp Delegation Process.
  • Experience coordinating and leading First Article Follow-Up Meetings.
  • Experience driving manufacturing and quality initiatives impacting shop floor performance, compliance, and productivity.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, regulatory compliance, and aerospace quality standards.

Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree. 3 years of experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Other PQL 102 . Other PQL 097 . Other Quality Tools training . Other Project Management . Other Yellow Belt preferred.

Position Purpose

Supervision of assigned personnel (Inspectors of Quality).Responsible of the definition and implementation of the Quality strategy at SBU leven assuring the correct coverage and coordination of assigned activities.Responsible to provide Support to the opertion Departments.Front‐line Supervision and Multicell leader.Support of multi‐cell projects/initiatives.

Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions
  • Supervise employee work to ensure performance, productivity and skill .

  • Coordinate personal, tools and all resources to assure the correct inspection program implementation, linked to the quality system and quality specifications .
  • Report incidents affecting the process .
  • Contributor in Root cause analisys for problem's solutions .
  • Manages quality projects in the SBU and develops action plans .
  • Training matrices development and implementation .
  • Promote Coaching and recognition for QC Inspectors assuring team motivation.
Additional Functions
  • Decision and problem solution with high risk management skills .
  • Support as Quality Leader in any SBU or Regulation's area. .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements
  • Intermediate English Level (Reading, listening and writing).
  • Advanced experience in management team presentations and negotiations skills.
  • Experience leading different areas/Departments.
