ZEISS Group is seeking a hands-on Technical Associate in Baja California to perform inspections, support process improvements, and assist with equipment and system start-ups on the production floor. The role emphasizes adherence to quality and safety standards and collaboration across Engineering, Production, and Maintenance teams.

The candidate should have 3–6 months of technical experience, an electromechanical or related technical education, and familiarity with AutoCAD, PLC, and Minitab.

Formación

• Minimum 3–6 months of experience in technical activities, engineering, manufacturing, or related areas.
• Educational background in electromechanical engineering, mechatronics or related fields is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform inspections and walkthroughs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide technical support for implementation and improvement of processes and equipment.
• Support creation and updating of layouts, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Follow up on requisitions, quotations, and purchase orders for engineering projects.
• Identify problems and risks, and assist with corrective and preventive actions.
• Support installation, testing, validation, and start-up of equipment and systems.
• Collect and analyze data to support decision-making and process improvement.
• Maintain records, reports, drawings and procedures related to engineering activities.
