An international engineering firm in Campeche is looking for a Mid-Senior level structural engineer to supervise structural activities in offshore projects. The role requires a BSc in structural engineering, extensive experience in oil and gas projects, and knowledge of offshore structures. The candidate must be local or hold valid residency in Mexico. Service Description: Supervise structural engineering activities from pre-construction to post-construction phases, including design and material reviews, fabrication, and offshore installation. The role ensures all structural work complies with project requirements, industry standards, and considers the specific constraints of the offshore environment.

Responsibilities

• Verification of structural drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Supervision of steel fabrication, welding, and surface preparation.
• Support for non-destructive testing (NDT/NDE) and structural load tests.
• Accurate field records and as-built documentation review.
• Progress reporting, including daily and weekly reports.

Qualifications

• BSc in structural engineering or construction.
• 10 years of experience in large oil and gas international projects.
• 5 years of experience in offshore structural supervision.
• Expert knowledge of offshore structures, design principles, and construction methods.
• Comprehensive experience in steel structures fabrication and installation.
