Cognizant in Monterrey is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to drive robust test automation across web and API solutions using Playwright, RestAssured and JavaScript. This hybrid day-shift role focuses on enabling reliable releases and shaping quality strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

With eight to twelve years of experience, you will mentor peers, define test standards, and translate requirements into effective test conditions, aligning with industrial manufacturing workflows

Formación

• Hands-on expertise in Playwright for browser-based automation.
• Experience with RestAssured for RESTful services.
• Strong JavaScript skills for utilities and test frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Drive end-to-end quality strategy for web and API solutions.
• Design test automation frameworks using Playwright for UI flows and RestAssured for service validations.
• Implement detailed functional regression and integration tests to validate core product behaviors.
• Refactor and optimize test assets to reduce flakiness and improve runtime efficiency.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and operations to refine acceptance criteria and edge cases.
• Establish rigorous quality gates and defect management with transparent reporting on release readiness.
• Mentor team members in test automation techniques across web and API layers.
• Align quality practices with industrial manufacturing needs where applicable.
• Support CI pipelines with automated validations to ensure rapid feedback.
