About the Role

TheLead Product Manager will own a product or key features within a complex product. This role is responsible for developing a successful product strategy and leading execution with minimal guidance, working directly with delivery teams. You will represent the product domain internally and externally as needed and manage a small team, including recruitment, development, and success.

Responsibilities
Customer Focus
  • Understand customer use cases and market trends.
  • Maintain regular communication to anticipate needs.
  • Use analytics and insights to identify and address requirements.
  • Develop processes to recognize and respond to customer needs.
  • Coach and align teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Stay informed about competitors and regulatory environments.
  • Segment markets and tailor approaches for sub-segments.
Data-Driven Decision-Making & Analysis
  • Use metrics to track progress and inform decisions.
  • Access and interpret data from multiple sources.
  • Communicate KPIs that measure success.
  • Coach others on data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Identify key data points for priorities and dashboards.
  • Analyze data using common tools (e.g., Excel).
Go-to-Market & Product Marketing Lifecycle
  • Develop launch plans with marketing and sales teams.
  • Create marketing and sales materials; guide others.
  • Take ownership of assigned launch and strategy tasks.
Product Delivery & Development Lifecycle
  • Understand the full product experience and lifecycle.
  • Drive planning through release for key components.
  • Apply agile and SDLC processes effectively.
  • Solve complex design challenges and write clear requirements.
  • Manage product independently, seeking guidance when needed.
Strategy & Commercial Acumen
  • Define product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Communicate ROI and business cases for investment.
  • Use competitor insights and data to inform decisions.
Technical Skills
  • Understand the company’s technology stack at a high level.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on development approaches.
  • Explore new technologies to support innovation.
  • Analyze data using standard tools.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years in product management or related role.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field preferred but not required.
  • MBA or management degree desirable.
  • Equivalent experience considered.
Proven experience
  • Launching products or features from concept through post-release.
  • Coaching and developing team members.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to translate insights into strategies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and metrics-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with go-to-market strategies and product lifecycle.
  • Ability to write clear requirements and manage complex projects.
  • Commercial acumen with experience in business cases and ROI analysis.
  • Comfortable collaborating with technical teams.
  • Competent in using common tools (e.g., Excel).
