EPAM Systems, Inc. in Mexico is seeking a Lead Automation Tester in Java to design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web, mobile, and backend APIs. You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and drive quality across delivery cycles.

The role requires 5+ years in automation QA or SDET with leadership experience, strong Java, and hands-on with Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and API testing tools. Excellent collaboration with global teams is expected.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer, Automated Testing Engineer, or SDET, with several years in a lead capacity.
• Proficiency in Java as the primary programming language.
• Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Appium.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), and behavior-driven development (BDD).
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for web applications, mobile apps, and backend APIs.
• Translate manual test cases and user stories into scalable, reliable automation scripts.
• Integrate automated test suites directly into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback loops for developers.
• Lead the automation testing strategy and guide the team in best practices.
• Monitor automated test execution results, investigate failures, categorize flakiness, and maintain quality dashboards for the team.
