Nestlé in Mexico City seeks an SAP TM IT Expert to manage the transportation management system within the SC IT team. You will design, configure, test, and deploy the TMS module, collaborating with logistics and supply chain to optimize goods movement.

SAP TM IT Expert

The role:

The SAP TM IT Expert will be responsible for managing the transportation management system (TMS) module of the SAP software as a part of the SC IT team dedicated to Nestle Purina. They will work closely with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure the efficient and effective movement of goods and materials. The SAP TM IT Expert will be responsible for developing, configuring, testing, and implementing the TMS module, as well as providing ongoing support and maintenance. They will also work closely with functional business teams to ensure that the SAP TM module is aligned with business objectives and requirements.

• Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize transportation processes, including carrier selection, routing, and scheduling.

• Work closely with functional business teams, including transportation, warehousing, procurement, sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure that the SAP TM module is aligned with business objectives and requirements.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to transportation management, and make recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.

• Configure and customize the SAP TM module to meet the needs of the organization, including integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.

• Conduct testing and quality assurance of the SAP TM module, including developing test plans and scripts, and coordinating user acceptance testing.

What will make you a great fit?

• 5+ years of experience in SAP TM implementations, ideally 2-4 full cycle implementations.

• Strong knowledge of transportation management processes and best practices, including experience with carrier selection/tendering, routing, scheduling, settlement.

• Strong knowledge in TM: BOPF(Business Object Processing Framework), ECC integration, CIF interfaces, IDOC interfaces, master data (lane, shares, commitments, BS), scheduling, TCCS(Transportation Management Telecommunications Call Control System), FA(Freight Audit), event management, change controller, conditions, integration with external applications (carrier portal, in‑transit visibility, payment providers)

• Strong knowledge in ECC-LES-TRA(the modules inside of SAP ECC that support Logistics and Transportation processes): route determination, Shipment document, execution, SCD, conditions, Freight PO, cost allocation.

• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and drive process improvements.
