Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead GCP DevOps Engineer to strengthen our global delivery by building reliable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support client outcomes.

You will lead hands-on IaC execution on Google Cloud Platform, design reusable Terraform modules, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe, repeatable releases. Coordinate with a global team and cover the Mexico time zone while enforcing security through IAM and WIF.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience with CI/CD and cloud platforms.
• Leadership experience guiding technical implementation and setting engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on Infrastructure as Code implementation on Google Cloud.
• Design and write reusable Terraform modules for scalable environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable safe, repeatable releases.
• Configure IAM roles and policies to enforce least-privilege access.
• Implement Workload Identity Federation (WIF) to secure authentication flows.
• Coordinate with a global team while ensuring coverage for the Mexico time zone.
• Review and improve infrastructure changes to keep deployments reliable and consistent.
