UL Solutions is seeking a Functional Safety Expert with strong electronics, hardware and software design and safety development experience.

This role will be deeply involved in the creation of safety work products for vehicle and automation features, including complex systems such as electric and autonomous vehicle platforms, industrial automation equipment, and battery and energy storage systems for both mobile and stationary applications.

Formación

• This role requires hands-on electronics system/hardware/software product design with a strong safety lifecycle focus.
• Experience with ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 (SOTIF) is required, along with related safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and review of functional safety work products in vehicle programs.
• Develop safety arguments and safety case evidence for hardware and software components.
• Perform hazard analysis and safety concept development for vehicle systems.
• Lead safety analyses like FMEA, FMEDA, DFA, FTA, STPA.
• Lead client interactions, workshops, and potential travel to sites.
