Blend360 is seeking a Lead FullStack Engineer to drive growth and architecture across backend and frontend layers. You will own API design with Python/Flask and lead cloud deployments on GCP, while delivering robust React/TypeScript features in collaboration with UI teams.

You will mentor engineers, own architectural decisions, and champion secure, scalable development practices across multiple services and data stores including Spanner and BigQuery.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Python with Flask or similar web frameworks for backend API development.
• Strong hands-on React and TypeScript experience for production-grade frontend features.
• Experience designing and building REST APIs and service-oriented architectures for scalability.
• Solid SQL/database design and data modeling knowledge.
• Hands-on GCP experience including Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, IAM, monitoring.
• Experience with testing strategies: pytest, Jest, RTL, Playwright.
• Familiarity with CI/CD: GitHub Actions and Docker.
• Understanding of security best practices in dev workflows.
• Ability to lead technically and mentor across full-stack domains.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
• Cloud-native DB experience like Google Spanner or BigQuery is a plus.
• Terraform or IaC familiarity is a plus.

We are seeking a Lead FullStack Engineer to contribute to our next level of growth and expansion.

Job Description

What is this position about?

• Lead backend architecture and API design using Python and Flask, owning service-layer ownership, code reviews, and backend pattern guidance across full-stack projects.
• Design and implement scalable REST and async APIs with a focus on clean service-to-data-access separation and maintainability.
• Provide hands-on frontend development with React and TypeScript, collaborating closely with UI teams to deliver end-to-end features and ensure seamless frontend-backend integration.
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP, leveraging Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Secret Manager, IAM, logging, and monitoring for production-grade deployments.
• Design and optimize database solutions using Google Spanner and SQL, including data modeling for relational structures and BigQuery for analytics and reporting use cases.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies across the stack, including pytest for backend, Jest and React Testing Library for frontend, and Playwright for E2E testing.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Docker, automating deployments, testing, and release processes.
• Champion security best practices, including dependency management via Snyk, secrets and configuration management, and secure development workflows.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and workflows for code exploration, test generation, debugging, and developer productivity improvements.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on full-stack patterns, code quality, and technical leadership practices.
• Own technical delivery across feature teams, ensuring alignment on architecture decisions, testing standards, and deployment readiness.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Python with strong proficiency in Flask or similar web frameworks for backend API development.
• Strong hands-on React and TypeScript experience with ability to build production-grade frontend features and collaborate on UI/UX delivery.
• Proven experience designing and building REST APIs and service-oriented architectures with focus on scalability and maintainability.
• Solid understanding of SQL, database design, and data modeling best practices.
• Practical GCP experience including Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, and basic IAM and monitoring.
• Experience with comprehensive testing strategies: pytest, Jest, React Testing Library, and E2E testing frameworks like Playwright.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, GitHub Actions, and Docker containerization.
• Understanding of security best practices including dependency management, secrets/config handling, and secure development workflows.
• Ability to operate as a technical lead, mentoring others and owning architectural decisions across full-stack domains.
• Experience or strong aptitude with AI-assisted development tools and workflows for improving code quality and developer productivity.
• Google Spanner or cloud-native database experience is a plus.
• BigQuery or data warehouse experience for analytics use cases is a plus.
• Agent-based or MCP tool integration experience is a plus.Experience with async/event-driven architectures is a plus.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code or Terraform is a plus.

How much experience must I have?

6+ years of experience in Full-stack Development or related disciplines such as Backend Engineering or Frontend Development, with demonstrated expertise in leading technical delivery across multiple layers of the stack.
