Coforge is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to drive end-to-end data product delivery on a modern cloud data platform across LATAM. You will architect API-driven data services, own data pipelines, and mentor a team of data engineers and ML engineers.

The role focuses on Python, Azure Databricks, DBT, SQL, Terraform, and CI/CD, with emphasis on delivering low-latency, scalable solutions and strong collaboration across stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related roles.
• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including seniors and juniors.
• Proven backend development with production-grade REST APIs and services.

Aufgaben

• Lead the RTS delivery squad and own end-to-end delivery of data products.
• Architect low-latency, API-driven data solutions and serving layers.
• Build and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python.
• Design and optimize data pipelines with Azure Databricks, DBT, SQL, and cloud tech.
• Own curated data layers for high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Evaluate and implement technologies for low-latency data serving and APIs.
• Lead IaC deployments with Terraform and cloud tooling.
• Mentor data and ML engineers; provide career development guidance.
• Conduct code reviews and set engineering standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Business to define tech roadmaps.
• Ensure data quality, observability, monitoring, and SLA compliance.
• Drive CI/CD adoption and oversee release management for pipelines and platforms.
• Act as primary escalation point for production issues and platform stability.
• Maintain comprehensive technical docs and architectural decisions.
