We Resolve Jamaica is seeking a motivated Laundry Technician to join our team. You will ensure efficient processing and care of linens, uniforms, and textiles while upholding the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and customer service.

You will operate industrial laundry equipment, follow fabric-specific washing programs, maintain inventory, and support daily production targets in a safe, collaborative environment.

Formación

• Experience in an industrial or hotel laundry environment.
• Knowledge of fabric care and chemical handling.
• Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move laundry loads.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, sort, and prepare laundry items by fabric type.
• Operate industrial washing, drying, ironing, and folding equipment safely.
• Select appropriate washing programs and chemicals for fabrics.
• Inspect garments and linens for quality before delivery.
• Maintain inventory and control of linens and uniforms.
• Keep laundry area clean and compliant with health and safety rules.
• Support daily production targets while upholding quality standards.

About The Role

We Resolve is looking for a motivated and reliable Laundry Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and care of linens, uniforms, and other textiles by maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and prepare laundry items according to fabric type and washing requirements.


• Operate industrial washing, drying, ironing, and folding equipment safely and efficiently.


• Select the appropriate washing programs and chemical products for each type of fabric.


• Inspect garments and linens to ensure quality standards are met before delivery.


• Identify and report damaged items or equipment malfunctions.


• Maintain inventory and control of linens and uniforms.


• Ensure the laundry area remains clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.


• Follow all company procedures regarding hygiene, chemical handling, and environmental practices.


• Support the team in meeting daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.

Requisitos mínimos

• Previous experience in an industrial or hotel laundry environment is preferred.


• Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment.


• Basic knowledge of fabric care and chemical handling.
