The Role

We are seeking a Key Account Managerto drive growth within the Food C&I market in Mexico.

In this role, you will identify and develop new business opportunities, understand customer operational and supply chain challenges, and position Sensitech's solutions to deliver measurable value.

You will manage the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification through contract negotiation and closure, while building strong relationships with customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders to achieve ambitious revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Qualifying customer accounts and assessing operational, logistics, quality, and procurement needs to identify business opportunities.
• Managing the complete sales process from discovery and opportunity development through proposal delivery, negotiation, and closing.
• Developing, owning, and executing a strategic sales plan aligned with assigned revenue targets within the Food C&I market in Mexico.
• Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline with opportunities valued at a minimum of three times the assigned revenue target.
• Collaborating with technical support and cross‑functional teams to develop tailored customer solutions.
• Delivering technical and commercial presentations that clearly communicate value propositions and business outcomes.
• Negotiating agreements that create mutually beneficial outcomes for both customers and the business.
• Forecasting sales performance and providing regular updates on pipeline activity and revenue projections.
• Developing strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key decision‑makers to drive long‑term business growth.
• Leveraging CRM tools and sales analytics to manage opportunities and improve sales effectiveness.

Requirements

• We are looking for people who are highly motivated, results‑driven, customer‑focused, and passionate about developing new business opportunities.
• As a Minimum You Must Have Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of proven success in quota‑carrying sales roles.
• Experience selling directly to customers and through distribution channels.
• Proven ability to understand customer business needs and position solutions that deliver measurable value.
• Strong experience managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• English fluency, both written and verbal.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Salesforce (SFDC).
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple opportunities and priorities.
• Valid Visa

Although Not Necessary, It Would Be Nice If You Have:

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Experience selling products or services within the cold chain, food logistics, supply chain visibility, or transportation monitoring industries.
• Formal sales training certifications or professional sales methodology experience.
• Experience working with multinational customers and global account management programs.
