AgileEngine is seeking a Database Engineer in León, Guanajuato to design scalable PostgreSQL schemas, tune performance, and ensure data integrity across environments. You will collaborate with engineering, QA, and DevOps to improve data flows and reliability.

Requirements include 2+ years of PostgreSQL experience, strong SQL and schema design skills, and solid backups/replication knowledge, plus excellent English communication.

Formación

• 2+ years of database engineering experience focused on PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing, maintaining, and optimizing complex relational DB systems.
• Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience with scalable and maintainable schema design.
• Ability to work independently with ownership of tasks.
• Solid understanding of data integrity, backups, and replication strategies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices related to database change management.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement efficient PostgreSQL schemas to support product features and scalability.
• Maintain and tune database performance, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.
