Novartis is seeking a Junior Payments Specialist based in Mexico City to execute accurate and timely payment processing, including vendor, payroll, tax, and intercompany payments. You will collaborate with Finance, Treasury, and banking partners to ensure compliance and drive process improvements in a dynamic, global environment.

The role requires up to 3 years in relevant finance functions, a Bachelor's degree, and fluent English.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree required in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or related field.
  • Up to 3 years experience in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Banking, or Shared Services operations.
  • Basic understanding of payment processes, financial operations, and internal control principles.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality work.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse global teams.
  • Experience with SAP or other enterprise financial systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Process vendor, payroll, tax, manual, and intercompany payments in compliance with procedures.
  • Review payment instructions and supporting documentation for accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Monitor payment status and resolve or escalate failed, blocked, or rejected transactions.
  • Support internal controls, maintain audit documentation, and ensure compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and banking partners on routine payment-related inquiries.
  • Contribute to process improvements, system testing, and operational excellence initiatives.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
