As a Landscape Architecture Junior Drafting Professional at M. In close collaboration with our Senior Drafting Professional and design team, you will be responsible for developing precise technical drawings and plans that set the stage for each project’s success. Key Responsibilities

As a Landscape Architecture Junior Drafting Professional, your primary responsibility will be to develop the essential pre‑design deliverables that set the foundation for every project. You will work closely with our design team to create high‑quality, accurate documents that are critical to the success of our projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing Pre‑Design Deliverables: You will be responsible for creating key pre‑design documents, including the Survey Base Sheet, Inventory Base Sheet, Proposed Base Sheet, and Inventory Proposed Base Sheet. These deliverables ensure that the design team has all the necessary information to start a new project confidently.
• Drafting Schematic Designs: In collaboration with our design team, you will use AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator to draft schematic designs. Your attention to detail and design expertise will help visualize the project’s direction and bring the concept to life.
• Drafting Preliminary Designs: Working closely with our design team, you will also assist in drafting preliminary designs, ensuring that the designs reflect our client’s vision while maintaining functionality, aesthetic appeal, and feasibility.
• Ensuring Accuracy and Compliance: You will ensure that all drawings are accurate and meet local codes and regulations, as directed by the design team. Your ability to maintain these standards will be crucial in ensuring each project is compliant and ready for approval.
• Collaborating and Refining Designs: As part of the landscape architecture team, you will actively collaborate with team members to refine designs. Your input will help evolve the plans, making them both innovative and feasible.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: You will receive an hourly rate between $15‑$20/hr, based on your experience and skill set, ensuring that your compensation reflects the value you bring to the team.
• Annual Inflation Adjustment: To account for the rising cost of living, you will receive a minimum 3% annual inflation‑based increase in your hourly rate, ensuring your compensation keeps pace with economic changes.
• Performance‑Based Hourly Increase: In addition to the inflation adjustment, your hourly rate will be reviewed annually, with the potential for further increases based on your performance and contributions to the team.
