About The Role

Are you enthusiastic about working in a creative & vibrant team that propels small businesses' online presence forward?

Junior Graphic Designers are in charge of making sure the right images are selected for our clients' websites, maintaining brand consistency and ensuring they match clients' expectations.

As part of Olly Olly's creative team, you'll have the opportunity to support in the strategizing & developing of ongoing internal & client creative visuals including color palettes, infographics, website visual concepts, as well as a range of internal creative projects for our own marketing.

The most successful person for this role has an eye for finding those "needle in a haystack" details.

We're looking for somebody with a willingness to learn and develop their creative skills.

An interest in learning about WordPress is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Select and edit images for client websites, in alignment with their brand style and industry.
• Design & propose custom logo designs for clients, from scratch and / or templates.
• Reformat photographs and logos provided by clients, improving image resolution.
• Customize WordPress themes for a variety of clients, in accordance to their brand.
• Track all tasks and time in project management software, while communicating with cross-functional teams in regards to questions and requested design tasks in order to ensure tasks are completed on-time.
• Collaborate with internal marketing team to provide images and illustrations for the Olly Olly brand, including Olly Olly social media pages and blog.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in Graphic Design, proving an understanding of composition and design fundamentals, including color theory & typography
• Familiarity with Figma or similar software would be an asset
• A Bachelor's Degree in Design or related fields is not required but a strong portfolio showcasing your ability is a must.
• Fluent English (both written and spoken)
• Technical Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop)
• Familiarity with WordPress & CSS
