We are currently seeking a IT Project Manager to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage technology projects, define milestones and success criteria, and ensure timely delivery
  • Exercise technical judgment in working with large, cross‑functional teams
  • Discover, deliver and implement tools and processes to improve engineering productivity and project transparency
  • Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company
  • Lead regular project status meetings while keeping all stakeholders aware of project and delivery status. Manage exceptions and communicate issues and risks to the rest of the program
  • Interact with ETO partners and client technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into recommendations for appropriate solution with reliability at the core

  • Project Management: Anticipate obstacles and develop contingency plans, promptly alerting relevant parties to potential problems; Communicate status and risks directly and openly
  • Analytical Thinking: Quickly identify priorities and issues in complex situations, applying cost/benefit analyses, recognizing inconsistencies, anticipating obstacles with contingency plans, and understanding system interactions
  • Communication and Influence: Regularly share important information, candidly communicating news; Actively solicit and listen to input; Guide group discussions to consensus, influencing others for cooperation while presenting ideas persuasively
  • Initiative and Ownership: Strive to deliver quality results; Willingly accept increased responsibilities; Persist in overcoming obstacles; Proactively seek system or relationship improvements; Solicit feedback to modify behavior
  • Client Orientation: Clearly define mutual expectations; Form partnerships with clients through shared accountability; Consistently meet or exceed commitments; Challenge client thinking with new ideas; Adapt project approaches as needed
  • Technical Skills and Knowledge: Remain informed about both emerging and established technologies, actively contribute to their advancement, promote adaptable architectural solutions, and exercise sound judgment and expertise to tailor processes and tools according to project requirements.
  • Business Knowledge: Demonstrate an awareness of business priorities and fiscal responsibility, coupled with sufficient business understanding to form independent views of client needs
  • Organizational Awareness: Understand key influences and decision‑makers, identify which issues to address or compromise on, and consider broader organizational perspectives when solving problems.
  • People Management: Treat all employees with fairness and respect, encouraging teamwork; Provide guidance and coaching; Foster a sense of common purpose while valuing diverse backgrounds
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of project management experience
  • Financial service domain knowledge is desirable, but not a prerequisite
