Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

We are looking for an experienced IT Kinaxis Integration Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of integration solutions for Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro within our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of integration frameworks, supply chain planning processes, and data architecture to ensure seamless connectivity between Kinaxis and other enterprise systems. The Integration Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and secure integration solutions that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Design and Architecture:

  • Architect and design integration solutions for Kinaxis RapidResponse, ensuring seamless data flow between Kinaxis and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MES, CRM, and other enterprise applications.
  • Define and implement integration strategies, including APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
  • Develop scalable and reusable integration frameworks that support business needs and long-term growth.

Implementation and Development:

  • Lead the development and deployment of integration solutions, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and security.
  • Configure Kinaxis integration components and data connections to align with system requirements and business processes.
  • Collaborate with developers to create custom integration scripts, workflows, and automation processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and translate them into technical integration solutions.
  • Liaise with supply chain and operations teams to ensure integration solutions meet functional needs and strategic objectives.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and project teams during integration deployments.

System Optimization and Troubleshooting:

  • Monitor and optimize integration performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks or issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot integration errors to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
  • Proactively recommend improvements to enhance system functionality and user experience.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Document integration designs, workflows, configurations, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain security protocols and safeguard sensitive data during integration processes.

Technical Leadership:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Kinaxis integration solutions, advising on best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Stay updated with Kinaxis RapidResponse/ Maestro features, upgrades, and industry trends.
Experiences/Education - Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Integration Architect or similar role, with expertise in Kinaxis RapidResponse integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of integration technologies, including APIs, web services, middleware platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft), and ETL tools.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain planning and operational processes, including demand planning, inventory management, and S&OP.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and their integration with Kinaxis RapidResponse.
  • Proficiency in database management, data modeling, and data transformation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Kinaxis certification(s), such as Kinaxis Integration Architect Certification.
  • Experience with cloud-based integration solutions and platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOC2).
  • Experience working with global teams and managing large-scale integration projects.
