BairesDev is hiring a Mobile Performance Engineer (iOS) to optimize startup time, scrolling performance, memory usage, and battery consumption across iOS apps. You will profile with Xcode Instruments and diagnose slowdowns in Swift and system frameworks, collaborating with teams to implement efficient coding practices.

The role emphasizes remote collaboration, strong English skills, and delivering high-quality user experiences through proactive performance testing and optimizations.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Mobile Development, or Performance Engineering.
• Proven expertise in optimizing iOS application performance, including memory and battery consumption.
• Proficiency in using Xcode Instruments for profiling and identifying performance bottlenecks.
• Strong background in Swift development and iOS system internals.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and optimize iOS application startup time and scrolling performance to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Monitor and reduce memory usage and battery consumption using Xcode Instruments and other profiling tools.
• Identify and resolve complex performance regressions through deep-dive analysis of Swift code and system frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for resource management and efficient coding.
• Design and execute performance testing strategies to proactively catch regressions before they reach production.
