About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banking Associate to join our US client's team.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis and Modeling : Perform advanced financial modeling for software companies, including P&L analysis, cash flow analysis, P&L projections, leveraged return waterfall for multiple stakeholders, and familiarity with carried interest hurdles.
• Financial Projections : Create and analyze financial projections and proformas to support transaction analysis and client recommendations.
• Pitch Deck Creation : Utilize expertise in MS PowerPoint to create compelling investment "pitch decks" and "information memorandums" for client presentations.
• Transaction Support : Assist in all aspects of the transaction process, including due diligence, valuation analysis, and deal structuring.
• Market Research : Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential investment opportunities.
• Client Interaction : Collaborate with senior team members to communicate with clients, addressing their needs and providing insightful financial advice.
• Documentation : Ensure that all transaction documents and reports are accurate, well-organized, and detail-oriented.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with a private equity firm or investment bank is a must.
