Responsibilities

The Opportunity

This role is to provide support to the PBNA Inventory Optimization modeling by collecting input data, cleaning or removing data discrepancy, running the models and analyzing the output. This role is responsible for data accuracy for all locations/material in scope for PBNA. The will entail monitoring data quality metrics, engaging SMEs in field and sector to determine appropriate input values for each parameter. Will include running sensitivity analyses to determine impact of a range of choices for input values have on the output values; analyze and review with IO team. This resource will also be required to initialize all the data and meet the exit criteria for exiting hypercare.

Your Impact

  • Support IO/RP Division Capability Leads
  • Make mass update master data updates upon request from Division
  • Manage the business rules for default input values and ensure correct parameters setting
  • Pull together historical data and summarize for SMEs review
  • Run sensitivity studies upon request from Division CLs
  • Monitor & respond to alerts found in IBP Analytics Stories
  • Provide Visibility on Fix needed within IBP per Item Location
  • Manage SKUs segmentation and lead inventory policies for each segment
  • Identify and manage Inventory in Excess / stockouts on the network, leading action plans for improvements
  • Run deep dives and what-if scenarios simulations for inventory management
  • Support Cross functional partner FTS/IT
  • Monitor for IO QoS Issues
  • Implement model changes on current solution design
  • Implement/Monitor input/output data consistency checks
  • Investigate input data discrepancies (for e.g. schedule adherence < 60% in IO)
  • Support Analytics/Visualization
  • Update Inventory and Supply dashboards weekly
  • Implement enhancements on current tools utilized to calculate optimal levels
  • Perform data consistency checks on SAP Modules
  • Create, share & respond to weekly Inventory levels to Review report
  • Design different optimization scenarios for product/locations
  • Reporting of missing master data for all NA product/locations
  • Reporting of Changes in Forecast increase/decrease
  • Provide Full detailed explanation on Inventory Results and give recommendations on parameter set
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering
  • Fluent knowledge and use of MS EXCEL, Powerpoint, Word, and Business Intelligence
  • Knowledge of SAP IBP, SQL, Python and Power BI tools preferred
  • 3-5 years of planning / Inventory management experience, E2E SC Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Automation Tools and creating connections
  • Ability to navigate complex datasets
  • Flexible, ability to model “what if” scenarios with business acumen
  • Effective team player
  • Advanced degree (MBA/MS) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering is a plus
