A leading technology company in Tijuana is looking for an Inventory Management Lead to oversee inventory reports, reduction programs, and coordinate supply chain efforts. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience in a global manufacturing environment. Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems is essential. This role involves setting performance goals and improving inventory metrics to enhance operational efficiency.

JOB SUMMARY & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead and support excess and obsolete reporting, track actions and follow up.

Lead Plan for every part from VOS program.

Develop and lead Inventory reduction programs.

Develop and follow up on metrics for inventory.

Improve ITO and DOH.

Monitor delivery frequency and inventory planning parameters in ERP.

Interface between numerous departments.

• Set performance goals for the Purchasing & Planning teams and follow up on action plans to meet goals.
• Periodical monitoring of item parameters to ensure supply
• Safety Stocks
• Min - Max
• ABC class
• Days of Supply
• Fixed Order lot size
• Responsible for PFEP (plan for every part) for Reynosa Campus
• Coordinate Kan-bans and set ups as required.
• Lead lean, cost savings and continuous improvement projects related to the control, space optimization, materials handling and storage.
• Responsible for Inventory Forecast every month, and annual budget
• Responsible to report month end variances against inventory forecast
• Responsible for excess and obsolete reporting & control
• Monitor performance of quality department on MRB & Inspection inventory
• Retains all required documentation through Record Retention process.
• Coordinate inventory for products phase in-out

Troubleshoot any issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications : (education, experience level, knowledge, skills, designations / certifications).

• Bachelor's Degree in business or any administrative area.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a global manufacturing environment.
• Experience with MRP / ERP systems or other manufacturing / purchasing systems and Windows-based PC programs.
• Knowledgeable of inventory control systems and process as well as material storage.
