A global apparel company in Mexico is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee inventory control and compliance processes. The role requires at least 5 years in inventory control within a high-volume environment and strong analytical skills. Responsibilities include implementing inventory management processes and collaborating with finance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, results-driven, and fluent in English and Chinese. Formación

Job Summary: Play a key role of inventory safety and accuracy, create and improve fulfilment processes, operations and compliance controls, maintain data integrity, reporting and analysis for product coming in and out of our distribution center in Mexico.

Reporting to Senior Manager, Fulfillment Mexico, this position provides regional guidance, training and direction for inventory control, inventory process management, inventory audits, cycle counts and reporting metrics. Collaborate with function stakeholders to identify and initiate optimization of inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices.

Core Accountabilities
  • Build, implement and monitor inventory management process to ensure inventory handling is compliant with lululemon policy
  • Plan and supervise cycle count in our 3PL managed DCs and return centers, train, educate and best practice sharing among these DCs
  • Work closely with finance for yearly stock take, analyze on inventory accuracy and reconciliation if necessary
  • Drive safety, accuracy and efficiency of inventory movement among Mexico DC and Sales channels by obtaining LEAN concept alongside the chain
  • Create and maintain dashboard to enhance data visibility; Collaborate with internal counterparts for analysis of inventory accuracy, shrink, aging and stock transfers
  • Implement inventory tools and system for tracking, analysis, auditing and reporting
  • Coordinate and proactively communicate for sustainable handling of aging inventory
  • Monitor and report adherence to established KPIs and external SOX controls
Academic/Educational Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of inventory control role in a fast paced, high-volume operation with a focus on seasonal activity in a direct-to-consumer environment, preferably within the apparel or fashion industry
  • Solid operating knowledge of Mexico and North America distribution management, with proven experience in inventory control
  • Attention to details and sensitive with numbers
  • Team player who can successfully collaborate up and down the organization
  • Results oriented with a focus on execution to meet business requirements
  • Excellent PC Skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and reporting tools (Power BI)
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
Working Conditions

Office environment involving long periods using a computer and handling desk work. DC work is hands on, providing guidance and reporting on business compliance. Office is based within our (outsourced) Distribution Centre in Mexico. Limited travel to/from other DC's or SSC locations may be required.
