Clarios is seeking an Intern in Quality in Matamoros, Mexico to transform how data is captured, analyzed, and used in the electrical and chemical laboratory. The role focuses on improving reporting efficiency and enabling data-driven decisions as part of the new Distribution Center digitalization.

You will design Power BI dashboards for scrap tracking, automate report creation, and contribute to the laboratory's digitalization roadmap.

Formación

• Active student in Systems Engineering / IT, Computer Science, or Mechatronics.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI (mandatory).
• Experience with data analysis, automation, and Excel.

Responsabilidades

This Role

As an Intern in Quality you will play a key role in transforming how data is captured, analyzed, and utilized within the electrical and chemical laboratory. This position focuses on improving reporting efficiency, enabling data-driven decision-making, and building the foundation for digital transformation in the new Distribution Center (DC).

What You’ll Do (Impact Areas)

• Optimize and automate report creation processes to reduce manual effort and shift focus toward actionable insights.
• Develop coding structures for scrap (merma) origin classification, enabling better traceability and root cause analysis.
• Design and implement Power BI dashboards to manage and monitor scrap, including:
  • Performance tracking
  • Root cause analysis
  • Chargeback tracking to plants
• Contribute to the digitalization roadmap for laboratory analysis (electrical & chemical) in the new DC.
• Improve data accessibility and visualization for faster, more informed decision-making.
• Enhance response times and analytical effectiveness in Quality-related topics.

• Interest in digital transformation and process improvement
