Job summary

Cummins Inc. is looking for an Instrumentation Engineering Technician to support test cells, calibrate instrumentation, and troubleshoot systems in Columbus, IN. You will install, program, and maintain data acquisition systems, document activity, and coordinate with engineers and customers.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and document work accurately.
• Experience with calibration and data collection is a plus.

Responsibilities

• First-Line Instrumentation Support for test cells and issues.
• Issue logging and documentation using department tracking tool.
• Perform calibrations and verifier checks for CVS systems and test cells.
• Assemble/test articles and configure test setups per requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.
• Comply with safety policies and maintain confidentiality.
