INSTALLATION SUPERVISOR
Purpose of the Job

Prepare, supervise the execution of installations on the field and onboard and support the installation workers (generally performed by a supplier or through a customer/partner/third party) in accordance with the PrIM orientation and project schedule.

Position in the Organization

Organization Structure: Operations / Regional Center / Industrial & Field Operations / Installation Team.

Organizational Reporting: Direct reporting to the Leader, Installation Supervisor and PrIM.

Key Network & Links

Field Operation Installation team and other contractor interfaces.

  • Productivity (according to project schedule)
  • CONQ (non‑quality costs)
  • No deviation to EHS rules
  • Number of punch points in handover to T&C reports/customer reports
Responsibilities
  • Prepares installation work:
    • 4M checklist a couple of weeks before starting the activity
    • Material availability
    • Availability of design documents that are complete and with the latest revision
    • Availability of tools with the required calibration up to date
    • Availability of skilled and trained resources – EHS, special process …
  • Trains and supports the installation workers and subcontractors on the working fronts under his responsibility, clarifying doubts and task priorities.
  • Supervises execution of installation on the field and onboard and supports the installation workers (generally done by a supplier or through customer/partner/third party).
  • Applies the method statement / installation procedures according to design documentation or reports on any deviation needed. Ensures the EHS requirements are clearly included in the MS.
  • Links PrIM and field activities, reports to the PrIM any field activity progress and issues in a timely manner – daily report.
  • Ensures that the activities are carried out as per schedule, within the productivity required, and in line with the quality standards.
  • Ensures that the EHS rules are strictly applied by the installation workers (including subcontractors).
  • Reports any non‑conformance observed on site to the PrIM and quality team.
  • Ensures and supports the handover process/report to T&C team/customer.
  • Develops installation activities with other team members and follows instructions from Leader, Installation Supervisor, PrIM and Field Operation Manager.
