Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Design Engineer to support New Product Development on Apply Rooftop products. You will work on mechanical and electrical design, applying design-for-manufacture and cost considerations, and optimize designs for manufacturability and serviceability.

The role involves drafting layouts, 3D modeling, BOM updates, and collaboration with NPD teams to deliver robust designs on tight schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (IME/IMA/IA/IM) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support design projects for New Product Development on Apply Rooftop products.
• Create layouts, sketches and 3D models using Creo and Windchill BOM management.
• Follow design specifications and maintain engineering data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet cost, manufacturability and timing targets.
