Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Ingeniero de Sistemas de Propulsión Aérea to design, analyze, test, and integrate advanced aircraft propulsion systems in Puebla. You will perform performance analyses using CFD/FEA and collaborate with manufacturing and test teams to ensure reliability and safety of propulsion components.

The role requires a strong background in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and gas turbine principles, plus experience with engine materials and certification procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Master's degree is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in propulsion design, analysis or testing.
• Strong understanding of gas turbine engine principles, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with CFD and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.
• Familiarity with engine materials, manufacturing processes and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and analyze aircraft engine components and systems.
• Perform performance analysis and simulations using CFD/FEA tools.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and test teams to oversee production and validation.
• Conduct or support engine testing and evaluate test data.
• Ensure propulsion systems meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
• Contribute to selection and integration of propulsion systems into aircraft designs.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design specs and test procedures.
• Work with cross-functional teams including airframe and avionics engineers.
• Stay informed about advancements in aerospace propulsion technology.
