Placements24 seeks a skilled Structural Engineer in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, to lead seismic design and structural analysis across diverse projects. You will collaborate with architects, geologists, and construction teams to deliver safe, code-compliant structures.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in structural engineering, proficiency in SAP2000/ETABS/STAAD.Pro, and fluency in Spanish, with eligibility to work in Mexico. This full-time role offers opportunities for professional development.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with a structural specialization.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering design.
• Proficiency with SAP2000, ETABS, and STAAD.Pro.
• Fluency in Spanish and legal work authorization in Mexico.
• PE license preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural analysis and design for new construction projects and retrofitting of existing structures.
• Develop detailed structural drawings and specifications using industry-standard software.
• Conduct seismic evaluations and design structures to meet or exceed applicable seismic codes and standards.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural systems into overall building designs.
• Review shop drawings and submittals from contractors to ensure compliance with design intent.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and verify structural work quality.
• Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and design documentation.
• Stay current with advancements in structural engineering, seismic design, and building materials.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and clients.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations in Oaxaca.
