Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Process Engineer for hydrocarbon separation at a major facility in Querétaro City. You will design, operate, and optimize separation units, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while improving efficiency and product quality.

The ideal candidate has a chemical or petroleum engineering degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, and hands-on skills with separators, de-ethanizers, and process simulators such as HYSYS or Aspen Plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of process engineering experience focused on hydrocarbon separation.
• Experience with separators, de-ethanizers, and scrubbers.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mass transfer.
• Process simulation software (HYSYS, Aspen Plus) is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations relevant to hydrocarbon processing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a plant environment and collaborate with operations teams.
• Experience working in the Querétaro City area is beneficial.

Responsibilities
