Job summary

Magna International Limited in Mexico is seeking an engineer for assembly process roles within the automotive sector. You will establish standards, apply welding knowledge, and develop documented processes to meet customer quality and delivery expectations.

The candidate should have 2–3 years in the auto industry, with knowledge of GD&T, SPC, and SAP modules, and a basic understanding of assembly tooling and material properties.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in the automotive industry in a similar role.
• Knowledge of assembly processes, tooling, and material properties.
• Familiarity with core tools used in automotive quality and process control.

Responsibilities

• Establish appropriate standards for assembly processes, ensuring safety and ergonomics and delivering on-time client commitments with low process cost.
• Basic knowledge of welding applications (MIG, Laser, Spot Welding) and tooling in the assembly process, mechanics and material properties to determine efficient processes meeting client requirements.
• Develop and follow procedures, instructions and process diagrams; interpret GD&T, RPS, and SPC to maintain a controlled, documented process.

Elaboración y seguimiento de procedimientos, instrucciones y diagramas de procesos productivos así como, Interpretación de GD&Ts, sistema de puntos de referencia- RPS y SPC esto con el fin de contar con un proceso controlado y documentado.
