Placements24 is seeking an Ingeniero de Diseño Mecánico to conceptualize, design, and develop robust heavy equipment in Naucalpan, State of Mexico. You will lead 3D CAD design efforts, perform structural and thermal analyses, and collaborate with production teams to deliver reliable machinery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical design for heavy equipment, a strong materials background, and fluency in Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for heavy machinery or similar industrial applications.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and CAE/FEA tools.
• Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes (machining, welding, casting).
• Spanish fluency required; English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and systems for heavy machinery, including chassis and hydraulics.
• Create detailed designs using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD Inventor).
• Perform structural, stress, and thermal analyses with FEA tools.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to optimize production efficiency and cost.
• Create and manage technical documentation, drawings, and BOMs.
• Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues during manufacturing or field operation.
• Stay updated on new technologies, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
